How About Buying A Hat For Your Kids?

Kids HatsKids Hats although small, have a great impression in kids clothing and makes a complete detail in the fashion. Several companies invest in hats for kids for a number of reasons. The greatest of them is that caps provide cover from cold and hot weather conditions. The other one could be to enhance beauty and to give the accompaniment for the designers clothing.

Kids HatFor whatever reason a child is to wear the hat, its always for a worthy cause especially when the guardians understand the effects of sun rays on the delicate skins of their loved ones. Think about those chilly winters when all people need to keep warm for their own survival. Does your child have to remain indoors just because they lack something to cover their heads? That makes one realize the need to cloth their children with the right attire to protect them from harm. Hats are for different occasions and themes.

Kids HatThere may be some hats designed for special occasions like the Halloween, birthday parties and it is wise to differentiate them. This is because you do not want to walk around with your sweet baby looking like a crown just because they have to wear a hat. Dressing your kid for the right occasion will always leave them feeling good and appreciated. If one fails in this, then your child is more likely to hate being out and get demoralized. That is the reason why one must shop for what is right, fashionable and easy to wear.

Kids HatPeople make hats for kids from a variety of materials for example paper, fabric like cotton, polyester, and nylon. They also come in different colors; sizes and children can wear them for different occasions including themes like pretend. These may include the cowboy hats, the hats for witches, Santa Claus among others. Most of the paper bonnets are easy to make upon following simple guidelines. The children can even help in fixing and decorating them to wear them at fun parties, birthday parties and Christmas Eve.

Kids HatTo protect your child from developing skin cancer, one would help them by providing good hats when you expect a lot of exposure especially when sun bathing on the beaches. There is no need for one to worry about where to purchase these simple but important accessories. A number of companies specialize in kids wear. Just do the research in the online markets and you will find some of them that even boast to be in the market for two decades.

Still not loving the other Walmart lines which are often inappropriate for classy young girls, and there is way to much promotional apparel – with movie branded back backs, TV show pajamas, Movie T-shirts.. junky junky junky! Please Walmart give us some style, these girls are classy! Inexpensive clothing does not have to be trashy.Target has a TON of great under $10 steals, as always. This is a small collection of mostly gift items where 100% of the profits support health and education opportunities for children nationwide.Disappointed with The Gap and Old Navy right now, with just a handful of sale items – all summer leftovers. Was unable to find much of anything for under $10 from either of them. That goes for The Children’s Boutique too, a small selection of leftover summer product and all of their Fall stuff is still at full price and none are under $10. Not to fret, check out the stuff on this board, along with Target, Faded Glory at Walmart, Forever 21 for accessories, and Kohl’s.
Start out with a neutral base, work in some turquoise jewel tone colors for tops, and a pop of mustard. Loving a little sparkle, with metallics and a small touch of rhinestones or studs, and buffalo plaid is a must have!

Easter Is Quickly Approaching

Classic-ClothingEaster is quickly approaching and Maison de Belles Choses has great options for the holiday and beyond!

I love seersucker! Every season my little man has to have something seersucker. This year it is the Funtasia Too Seersucker Suit which he will be wearing for Easter. I just love little guys, and their Dads, in seersucker in Spring.

I enjoy matching or complimenting my children in their clothing. Molly loves wearing dresses so it is never too difficult to convince her to wear a new dress. I am also a big fan of Funtasia Too’s Pillowcase Dress. It’s reversible! I haven’t decided yet which side she will wear it on to best compliment her brother. Christian will definitely be in his knee high socks and saddle shoes. I just love this look and I am not sure how much longer I have for him to wear it. I have heard mixed reviews on this – 2 or 3 or even 4. I am pulling for 3 years old so I have another year to see his chubby little legs over saddle shoes.

Other great non-Bunny options – for little sister, the beautiful Anavini Pink Checked Smocked Bishop Dress and for the little brother, the Puppies Smocked Overall by Anavini.

Well, it’s true, isn’t it? So Saturday we headed on down to the School Easter Pancake Breakfast to meet the Easter Bunny. With two and five year olds, how could it not be anything but a good time for all? You’ll have to go to the end of the blog for the photo answer to that question. Anyway, you can see the two are off to a good start…
Yes, Easter only comes once a year. That is why I say “Dress Them Up!” They get bigger all the time and grow out of their clothes, but the pictures last forever! People did comment on how cute the Little Man looked all dressed up, but I didn’t do it to get compliments (although those are nice). I did it because I genuinely love seeing them dressed well. And I’m enough of a realist to know they may not go along with my sartorial suggestions for much longer. Work it while you can!

Family Style When It’s Cold Out

cold outWe didn’t get snow for Christmas, and it has been awesome-ly warm pretty much all winter…until this week. The day before yesterday was so cold I swear my eye balls felt like they were freezing and I had to run from store to store (while on errands) to keep from peeing my pants (OK not really, well maybe). Seriously it was COLD! The Mister and I moved away from a Northern-ish freezing-fricking-cold-every-single-day-of-winter city 9 years ago (holy moly that was 9 YEARS AGO!) and the cold was half the reason we left. Toronto gets cold, but usually not -30C cold (it’s just way less common) so cold days like the other day sneak up and bite us in the butt. And then we whine and complain for days, and dream of hot summer days, then when hot summer days come, we whine and complain about how it’s TOO hot (never changes).

When it’s ‘my nose hairs are freezing’ and ‘my eyelashes are frozen to my glasses’ cold, it’s pretty hard to dress stylish. But really who’s looking anywhere but, the ground they are running on to get out of the cold anyways? Dad snapped a few pics of me in the kids the day before I froze my butt off (the kids stayed home with dad in our warm home that day), pictures of us all toasty warm. The day the weather started to get a little colder, this is what we wore…

Can’t go wrong with a pair of Sorel’s in the winter, okay maybe not that stylish, but my toasty toes love em. The kids’ have mini Sorel-sih boots which are pretty adorable and stylish on them (everything is cute and stylish on kids). Also I have to gush over this diaper bag, I love it. I forget it’s a diaper bag all the time and find myself carrying it (full of diapers might I add) when I am out by my lonesome. No one can ever tell it’s not just a cool purse till I open it up and they see an entire pack of diapers (it’s like an apartment in there big enough to hold a pack of diapers and probably a kitchen sink too).

PS. The day we took these pictures it was cold but not snow pants cold. When it’s really cold out, we dress it hats, scarfs, snow pants and the kids are usually wrapped in blankets in the stroller and covered with the rain bubble (that’s if we go out at all).
